In NCAA news... The Big 10, which actaully has 11 teams, is looking to expand- and quite possibly in a big way. There has been talk for months about adding one team to make it an even 12. However, over the past few days there is talk about making a super confernce of 16 teams!
My guess is that at the very least Rutgers will join the Big 10. Notre Dame? Perhaps. Missouri? Quite possibly. Some other crappy teams that are being thrown around are Uonnecticut,Syracuse,Pitt. But most interestingly!!! Nebraska and Texas!
Yeah all those powerhouses we'd be forced to play; the fighting illini, Iowa, Northwestern and the Penn state pansies. Shakin' in my boots over here. Some people follow their dreams, others hunt them down and beat them mercilessly into submission.
The Big Ten announced Wednesday night a divisional split for football only that's semi-geographic and allows the Nittany Lions to play Ohio State, Wisconsin and Nebraska every season.
Penn State will play their five new divisional rivals -- Ohio State, Wisconsin, Indiana, Purdue and Illinois -- every season. In addition, each school in the conference will retain an annual rivalry game against one team in the opposite division. And, to the certain delight of Penn State fans, Nebraska will be the Lions' annual rival game.
